This is a house that has steel siding. It was oxidized real badly over the 40 years of weathering and the lack of cleaning it! We power washed it and removed all the paint we could! It took over 50 % of the paint off! Then we primed with a steel primer and put 2 coats of Valspar’s best on it! Also we added a chemical algaecide to keep mold from growing on it and it works well for several years! It looks great now and will for many years to come! Let us make your home look like this one!

Note to the do it your self people

 Taping off trim helps keep paint off but paint will wick behind it so you should not get paint on the tape if at all possible unless you use FROG tape and it will keep it out! That is why us Pros don't tape off for cutting in we only do it to keep the specking off that comes from spraying or off the rollers!Also second coats you need to let the paint dry well between coats cause the second coat can turn the first coat back to liquid state and it wont give you as thick a coat! I am a Valspar man I believe it is the best deal out there! Quality and fairly priced just like Robs Handyman Services! On finishes the more glossy the paint the better it will clean up later but here is the catch! The more gloss it has the more the in perfections in your walls will show!Trim, doors & cabinets should always get high gloss. Most walls I use eggshell or satin ! Hope these tips help you on your next project !
